Hiking on a Christmas day
By the lake from home, not far away
Long miles curves the shoreline
Paved trail under the sunshine
View of waterfront house big and wide
Noise of car wind from other side
Early geese playing by the water
Camera lens shooting like a hunter
Nothing more beautiful like this
As most of natural life easy to miss
Since it is a peaceful holiday
on a bright and free Friday
With the fresh morning in the air
The path knows where to where
